MAKING CONTACT

How do we begin the process of having training or HR with you?

Give Anne a call - her number is 01884 28988 or 07768 317220 and we will arrange to meet to clarify your HR or training concerns and what we can do to help you with them.

Who would deal with our particular project?
At our initial meeting we will agree the most appropriate person to deal with your particular matters; unless you desire a change that person will stay with you throughout the entire project. So, you will always have a direct link with a consultant who is closest to your specific concerns and progress.

What will you want to know from us at our initial meeting?
When we meet, our interest is in you and in the specific training and HR matters you wish to address. We will often want to know the answer to such questions as:

What would you like to achieve?
When would you like these results to be achieved?
Who needs to be involved in the preparation/delivery/assessment of our work?
What specific concerns have you got?
What measurements would you like to use to assess the effectiveness of our services?

TRAINING

Are your programmes 'off the shelf'?
No, all our programmes are written to meet the specific needs of our assigment. We will agree objectives and outcomes for each event with you at the outset. We write the materials to meet those objectives and to reflect your culture and circumstances. In short, every programme is different - no two events can ever be the same!

Where do you deliver training events?
We can either bring everything to your premises or we can arrange a specific training venue - whichever suits you. In general, it is often better to take delegates away from their workplace than it is to try and create an ideal learning environment at work.

If the training is onsite what requirements do you have?
If we are running a training event on your premises, we will require facilities set aside specifically for our exclusive use so we can create an appropriate environment in which your delegates can concentrate on their learning. We will discuss any equipment requirements which we may have with you.

When can you deliver the training?
When is it most convenient for you! Our programmes are designed to fit in with your working schedule and although this normally means during office hours, we have delivered training during the evening and at weekends. Please ask!

What is the duration of a training programme?
All our events are flexible so they fit in with your normal work demands. We will be led by you in this. Clearly, it is important that we design an event which can be slotted into the delegate's work pattern so that he or she is able to attend. It is quite reasonable for training to be delivered in short modules so delegates don't feel they are away from their desks for too long at a time. In many instances returning to work is taken as an opportunity to try out the learning which has been achieved from the training.

How many people can you accommodate on a training programme?
Since each programme is designed to meet specific needs, the number of people attending each event is determined by the existing need. In some cases, for example when we are training trainers, or developing Presentation skills, we limit the size of the group to 6; in other instances where for example, we are training staff in Customer Services, our groups may be up to 20 people.

What will be expected of delegates during their training?
Delegates will be expected to participate in activities and discussions, which have been designed to facilitate learning. We encourage participation during training as this has such a direct, and positive, impact on the learning and leads to a more relaxed and enjoyable environment for our delegates.

How do we ensure that we get the most from this training?
We recommend that each delegate is briefed by his or her manager using the programme outline prior to the event when they can discuss training outcomes. After the event we recommend a follow up meeting with the manager to plan the implementation of the learning.

HR

If we have a sudden HR crisis at work - when can we contact you?
With HR we like to work with an agreed retainer and in this instance we will respond to a call or email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - so, you can contact us immediately!

MONEY

What are your payments terms?
Our initial meeting is free though we may make a charge for travel and accommodation if that is necessary. During this meeting we will discuss and agree the daily charge and additional expenses for preparing and delivering our work. We invoice on an agreed timescale and payment is within 28 days.

Cancellation charges
We do understand that, sometimes, it's difficult to adhere to precise arrangements. We will make no charge where you need to rearrange an event, so long as we have a least 5 working days notice. If you have to cancel a programme within 10 working days then full fees would be invoiced.

What do you charge?
We make a preparation and delivery charge for our work. The precise fees will be negotiated with you before we begin to work with you. It is our intention to provide you with the best results possible and we will use whatever is legitimately available to achieve that within your budget! We will make charges for travel, accommodation and other incidentals as agreed with you prior to any event.

CONFIDENTIALITY

What happens to information exchanged during the provision of your services?
We are conscientious and highly respectful of confidentialities revealed during our work with you. Any information which we obtain will only ever be used to further your development and would never be revealed to any third party.
